FAQs

1. Can I be signed by the label?

Currently, we are not signing any artists to Restrung Records. We are currently willing to work with any artists that would like to host their sound recordings on our website and will provide recording assistance. However, no funding or extra services are being offered at this time.

2. Why do you only have two artists signed on?

At the moment, we don't have any artists officially signed. Dominick Satterwhite and Earleigh Heights only allow their music to be published on the site.

3. Will you branch out to other artists anytime in the future?

We are looking to expand our label by eventually signing on a few artists. However, we are still learning and trying to form our business to provide excellent services. We will be promoting ourselves once we feel we are ready to jump into the industry at full power.

4. How can I be notified when Restrung Records is ready to sign new artists?

You can sign up for our newsletter on our main page. We don't like to spam our followers with constant mail, so you'll only receive updates for changes to our policies or new music. We also have new social accounts that you can follow by checking our footer.

5. How do you guys produce and publish your music?

We use a variety of mixing and mastering engineers that we refer to do the heavy lifting on making the final master sound recordings. We also use a distributor called EmuBands as our primary music distributor. They're on Spotify's preferred list, which is how we discovered them. As for music publishing, we do not do any publishing work for our artists. We only focus on the music production and the promotion of master sound recordings.

6. Do you have a store to sell your music? What's the audio quality like?

When you buy a digital song download from us, you're getting the purest recording of the song. It's a WAV file that has not had any extra mastering or compression work that some digital streaming services do. It's the true finished product that our artists make before they have EmuBands distribute it.
